Archive On Demand only lists file formats that your TiVo might be able to stream.

WARNING: Archive.org contains SOME highly objectionable content. Some nudity, gruesome, or offensive footage, and possible pornography. You can edit the app list and thumbs down to delete this app from your Enter Webz app list if you are concerned. (Unfortunately there is no reliable way to filter that content out).

REPLY if you want Archive On Demand to add search, better audio/concert support, support for non-audio/video content, bookmarking, simple parental controls or other features!

After a little testing with my wife, I realize:

• I need to indicate media type (video or audio) next to the cryptic format names... I'll probably use an icon. Some items contain both types.
• I should consider not adding another screen every time you sort ("B") or click "more..." ... instead I'd update the current screen and add a "previous" entry at the top of the results. Otherwise, you might be hitting "left" quite a lot.
• Audio files aren't working on Minis (I just re-used my video player, but it disables itself on Minis and other models that can't stream video... even though they CAN do audio).
• I forgot to add "clear" to quit.

Let me know if one of these is causing you problems, too (so I'll get it done sooner) or if you're having any other issues you would like me to address.

Note, my video player supports:
"B" to reduce overscan if your TV is an older model and cuts off the edges, and
"C" to squish or squash or smash your video if it is stretched out of proportions because of the combination of video format, TiVo zoom, and your TV. Some people don't care about this, but those of us that are driven crazy by it really need this feature. Notably vertical iPhone videos get horribly stretched sometimes, and one of the modes when you press "C" fixes that.

I just updated with the 3 above of my 4 concerns addressed.
It also has a couple of display improvements.

Also, this update adds support for "D" to change what happens when a video ends. Currently that is a choice between: close the video, pause the video, or repeat the video.

"Repeat" is good for the "stock footage" selections like the fireplace.

I just updated again, addressing the above remaining concern.

This update also added more "D" options.
Now, by default, when playback ends, it plays the "next" file in the item (if there is one, skipping what repeats it can detect) or closes.
You can also choose for it to repeat the list of files within the item if it reaches the end.
It still has the options to just close when the first playback ends, repeat the same playback forever, or simply pause when playback ends.

Additional improvements were added. Most noticeable is the shortcuts of FF/RW to load the next/previous page of results.

Ok, Archive On Demand now works well again since the hobbling that TiVo Inc has done to the technology it depends on.

Now it limits your listings to MPEG2/MPEG1 video files (they broke MP4) and MP3 files (I think they are not broken by TiVo on Series 2).

Although some collections are now empty, the majority that are not have video results with something actually playable.

Yay, useful again! enjoy.

Not sure if it had this before, but this also includes quick-mode (and my super-quick-modes) in the video playback, and a minor update to Radio Auricle, not that I can use it anymore with my TiVo models.

I just did a quick query, and technically there are still 1.78 Million video results in there that are compatible, so don't be discouraged by empty collections ;]
