I got a trio of Premieres off my shelf yesterday. One already has PLS, one is an inactive unit and one has never been activated. For the latter two, I was wondering if the days of $99 upgrades to lifetime are long over, or if there’s been anything like that recently for the Premieres...

Although you may not get the right answer here. You have to call for CS.

Mainly, the discounts are available to units that have been activated and had been on monthly/yearly for a number of years.

There was a report a month or two ago about a Premiere being activated for one month and then, when calling TiVo to cancel it, they offered a Lifetime upgrade...ymmv...
