Does Tivo charge to replace a dying Roamio w/ lifetime?

I have a Tivo Roamio with lifetime on it that is dying. It looks like Tivo has agree to send a replacement but the "Technical" support agent I was talking to starting saying something about $140.00 charge and at that point I told her I could not hear her well so she said to call back and talk to another agent.

Since I have lifetime on my Roamio I should not have to pay anything for a replacement should I?

The Lifetime is not for YOUR lifetime, rather the lifetime of the device. You could get it replaced by Tivo for a fee, but it would be a Bolt or Edge.

Most of the time the failure is the hard drive and that is easily replaced.
