Today I cancelled DirecTV. They gave me a good deal for a year, but they don't carry a lot of the OTA channels I like and I did not find much to watch on all the cable filler channels.

So, I shipped their box today and ... well, you know the rest.

Just thought I'd post about choosing a Roamio/OTA over the alternatives.

I have a blog on OTA and from time to time I post about the cost of a comparable Comcast subscription. One night I was getting data for such a post off the Comcast site and my wife walked in, "What are you doing? You're not going to take the antenna away!" I didn't. OTA done right has high WAF.
