I did a search and couldn't find a thread for this show. Does anyone else watch this?

I find it really interesting that they cast one girl (Heather) with Aspergers. I'm really hoping that this turns out to be an opportunity to get some information out about Aspergers and isn't just the producer's way to add some "drama" to the situation.

I also like Janet a lot. Especially after she smacked Tyra on the behind during the interview.

Right now I like Saleisha. But I can't really tell until they get into the photo shoots.

I am mad they didn't put Spontaneouis (or however she spelled it) through, just for the pure comedic value of her name.

I can't believe Ebony withdrew at the last minute. What a baby!

Heather does take some awesome pictures, but she's really awckward. Not only because of her aspergers, but home schooled kids are weird!

I hate to say it, but it does seem to me that people on the show are throwing her some favoritism. Everyone seems to be bending over backwards for her. Kinda makes me wonder if Tyra isn't pulling some strings behind the scenes. I have a feeling this may be another of Tyra's bids for "Oprah-dom".

I was surprised in the most recent episode to learn that Sarah was considered a plus-size model. I don't remember them mentioning it before and I couldn't tell from looking at her that she was plus-size in comparison to the other models.

when comparing her to the other models (in the photos), you can tell. But it's not extreme. Mostly, I see it in her legs.

But yeah. It's funny to call her "plus sized".

She was this seasons "token" plus size model. They have one every cycle that gets eliminated midway in the season. She started out more plus sized and has since lost some weight on the show. Seems to me she looks better now than before, but the judges aren't happy because now she is "neither" plus sized nor rail thin like the others. Kind of in between.

The girl claims she has no idea what they are talking about and apparently they must not weigh these girls because the only evidence they have that she has lost weight is the photos. They have not stated any before and after weights for her so far. She seems to be a little confused herself as to what she wants to be and seems to be indicating that she hasn't lost any weight.

Also, I think it was last cycle there were TWO plus sized models. One chunky looking black woman. It was said that plus size models start at 12 and 14, but this girl claimed to be a size 8. I just didn't see it. Maybe compared to the skin and bones next to her made her look that way.

Apparently she became to skinny to be a regular (size 0 or 2?) model and wasn't fat enough to be Plus size (12 or 14). :down: A very narrow two areas of acceptable in the model industry.

I was referring to Whitney from last cycle. Are you talking about Sarah from this season? Whitney said she was a size 8, but if you saw her it certainly doesn't look like it.
