American Idol "Top 6 results show" 4/28/2011 *spoilers*

Once again the producers of the show decide who is going to win. Just look how some have hugh back ups while others have nothing.

My guess is that the bottom is the two girls and Jacob and buh-bye Jacob.


Well, my picks are wrong so far with Haley safe, but I'm doubting there really will be an OFFICIAL bottom 3. Meaning I bet they don't actualy say the words "bottom 3" this week. Just too few people remaining.

I was sweating it for Lauren here. I'm surprised by Scotty being in the bottom 3.

Again, the words "bottom 3" have not been spoken yet. It may be that there are too few left and they don't do a bottom 3 any more.

That Scotty was put there for drama, what else?
It sends a subliminal message to Ameriker that he belongs there- they've decided they don't want him to win.

I wonder why don't publish the vote counts?

Disappointed but not completely surprised - I am sure a lot of people don't "get" Casey.

I am surprised, however, that it was not Jacob.

Yeah, we have no clue who were the actual bottom three, just that Casey was one of them. I think I kind of called it this afternoon in the Performance thread. Casey is just to eclectic week in and week out and I really believe that James has probably stolen more Casey votes in the last few weeks than he has from any of the others.

So I had an idea it would happen sooner rather than later but I gotta say

NOT BEFORE JACOB!!!!!

That was the most fun I have seen anyone have with their final song though!

I think Casey knew he wouldn't make it until the end - he just wanted to do his thing for as long as he could.

I did. I love her - she has been my favorite girl from the very beginning (since her audition).

Actually I lik(ed) Casey. But with the exception of Taylor Hicks as anybody other than plain vanilla generic singer ever won Idol?
