Elimination time..

Casey is not on the stage because he is sick and in the hospital.

Group song. Michael Jackson montage.

Ford music video.

Red Riding Hood premiere.

Results time:

Jacob is safe.
Karen is in the bottom 3.
Stefano is safe.

Adam Lambert performance.

More results

Lauren is safe. By the way she has Kaley Cuoco's eyes. (not trying to sound creepy)

Ashthon is in the bottom 3.
Haley is also in the bottom 3.

So that means everyone else is safe. James, Naima, Pia, Paul, Casey, Scotty, Thia are all safe.

Diddy Dirty Money (Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, P Diddy, Diddy whatever his name is!) performance

Final results:

Karen is safe.
Haley is safe.

Ashthon is singing for her life.

No way do the judges use the save this early...

And they decided not to use it.

Ashthon is going home.

Rehearsal attendee spoilers say that

Casey will not be in tonight's results show- hospitalized with stomach issues again.
It seems that whenever Casey gets stressed out he has stomach bleeding - not sure if it is an actual bleeding ulcer (though that's what it sounds like). Casey has been staying in a separate room from the other Idols so he could rest.

They shouldn't have subjected us to her this time to be honest. There were better options for that wildcard spot.

Scary to see Haley in the bottom three. I said it in the other thread that I think it was definitely the song that the AI voting public would not get behind. I watched the performance again after the show and she was great last night, Hope she picks a better song next week.

Paul may become my Tim Urban of this year with me asking myself week after week "why is this guy still here?"

Ashton was the right choice to send home though and it was a pretty easy pick this week.

Yeah I was surprised Paul was not in the bottom 3.

and unfortunately disagree
- Haley is on the bottom for me
(after Scottie dawg - who I continue to resign myself I will have to suffer through for many more weeks).

While it doesn't phase me one way or the other that Ashton went home - I had a glimmer of glee hoping it would be Haley.

They've always lip-synced the group song, but last night it was a particularly bad job.

For 10 years I have mostly fast forwarded through the painful group song.

Every one seems like UP WITH PEOPLE has reformed.

I don't think they always did. But they have done that for the past 3 or 4 years.

Scotty singing Michael Jackson would have been weird if live. With the lip sync, we just got him lip syncing to someone else's voice.

I wonder if Casey recorded tracks for the group number and if so what they did about it.
