I tried to get a season pass for american idol, but the machine (a series one philips) only wants to record the wednesday episodes and not the tuesday ones. any thoughts?

First thought is what else do you have scheduled to record on tuesdays between 7 & 9:00.
Look at the recording history (at the top of the To Do List screen), why does it say they won't be recorded?

Tuesday night's episode is 2 hours, so my first thought is that there's something creating a conflict in the second hour.
