I can't get movies to transfer, recording history says DVR download rate to slow.
I have DSL with connection speed of incoming 3008 kbps, outgoing 512 kbps.
My internet system runs on a homeportal 802.11b, and my Tivo is connected with a Netgear MA111 USB adapter. I read somewhere that I would have to be running a 802.11G router and adapter to get movies to download. Is this true?
Anyone out there able to run with a B series router, if so is there something else I need to look at?
If I need a G router, it would cost about a $100.00 for a used router and a new Tivo USB adapter, if that's the case I think I'll skip that. I like Tivo, but so far the stuff they come out with like Tivo to Go, and Unbox, are kind of a pain.
Thanks
