Amazon Unbox download status?

According to the FAQ, if I have requested a download I can go to my collection online and see the download status. I can see the title, but there is no mention of download status anywhere.

Since its not on my Now Playing list, I assume it must still be in progress. But for the life of me I cannot see a progress indicator or % or anything on the collection page.

Am I looking in the wrong spot? Thanks in advance for any help!

On my S2, the Unbox title appears in the NPL as soon as it starts downloading, in a folder labled "Amazon Unbox"(I have folders turned on - not sure if this matters). I can follow the status as it downloads, although I can't start playing it until it's done.

Sounds to me that you have a connection issue.

In your other thread located here you are not getting the Yahoo services either.

Check your connections, and make sure that your unit is connected to the internet. Also, check your guide data, you should have about 2 weeks worth of programming.

AFAIK, you can only check the download status of videos that are being downloaded to the computer you are using, so you'd never see the status of a download to tivo. For Tivo you have to do what pdhenry said he does.

If you go to "my media collection" at amazon.com and you are looking at the list of videos in your collection, you need to select the video you want to check on by clicking on the picture or the title to the right of the picture. On the next page on the righthand side there's a box that's divide in two. The top portion is labeled "manage this item" and the lower section is labeled "see this item" in that section you'll see a download button and a drop down list of available units to download to. Below that is where you find the status. It's just a progress bar with the name of the unit being downloaded to beneath it. It's not labeled as anything, so it's really easy to miss.
And here's the key to this whole thing - you have to actually have the Unbox software (with the viewer) running on the PC you are checking from.
