Too early to really like anybody. But naturally, I despise the Jersey Shore guys, as I am meant to. And the non-vomiting Kentucky guy is already on my last nerve.

But the real story: the sisters who made the all-time Amazing Race mistake, but not until after they had made several other key mistakes.

This is definitely the season of the Guidos. A bunch of the teams have the similar "Booyah, look at me, I'm hot ****" mentality that's just not fun to watch. Really hoping the season improves.
I didn't like any of the teams off the bat, either. I am especially tired of Mr and Mrs Big Brother. I hope they get eliminated soon.

I did like the twist of the person not doing the roadblock jumping. Nice "gotcha" to start things off.

It's too bad they couldn't find any teams from southern California. </sarcasm>
Strange and mostly uninteresting cast - er, I mean group of contestants.
The way the balloon clue was written I was sure at least one team would head toward Santa Barbra, CA The clowns seemed lost for a while but maybe they eventually read the entire clue card.

We couldn't believe that one of the guys couldn't drive a stick at this late date.

I know, has he never watched this show before?
I'm rooting for Brenchel. As much as I despise them as people, they make for great TV. However, I do think their competitive and athletic nature will serve them well.

Once thy were in the car a video was activated that told them where they were going.
I'm not sure that video was for the contestants. It sure looked like it was added later to me.

As far as favorites, I agree it's too early to pick, but I like the clown couple - they seem to be the least dramatic of them all so far. And thank heaven they got the "Tears of a Clown" reference out of the way so quickly!!
Female fed agents
Afghan vet/army wife
Border patrol agents
Clowns, fitness jerk :down::down::down:
Hillbillies meh...
I'm pretty sure the video was playing in the car for the teams, it sure sounded like it rather than the usual Phil voice over.

The army guy/wife are from my hometown (Madison) so I'll root for them. I probably would anyway, no other teams really stand out. I don't think the clowns last long.
This is one time where the supposed drama at the end wasn't fake. I laughed when Phil pointed to where he supposedly saw the girls off in the distance before they got lost. I thought for sure that was fake but I guess he really did this time.
I could have sworn that at one point the white Kentucky dude was missing about 3 front teeth then he wasn't. I think he has fake teeth.
Wow, a completely underwhelming cast so far.

No older couple or parent/child teams to root for. I will probably root for the female feds or the Border Patrol guys. I thought I might root for the vet and his girl but there was a preview that made me rethink that.

There had to be at least 5 people waiting at the pit-stop, Phil, 2 locals and at least 2 crew members, probably some lights and other gear. If Phil could see the 2 sisters at a distance it really casts a bad light on their intelligence.
I can't concentrate on rooting for any of the teams on this show until Brendon and Rachel are eliminated. Two seasons of Big Brother were enough torture --please, Philiminate them quickly.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out they had been asked to be on the show and not applied so they wouldn't have an idea what to prepare for. Let's be honest, it's pretty clear that they aren't really the sharpest tools in the shed.

I like the Feds, I like the Spouses, and I like the Border Patrol though the one guy better pull it together.

The clowns annoy me as does the remaining all-female team.

As usual, this is very early so it's hard to get a feel for any of the teams until a few weeks pass.

Yes, I saw that too!

I also saw the missing teeth and then at the mat noticed he had teeth, and wondered if I was just crazy!
