Just to tell you my setup:
ISP is Fios 1 gig down/up. The Fios G1100 router has both a coax and ethernet connection to it (Our house was wired for a triple play).
Two Fios Network Extenders both on Moca (The router is mounted inside our coat closet).
Family room: has coax outlet only. We have a Fios 2-way splitter on it and connected are the Network Extender and Bolt Vox. The Bolt Vox also has ethernet connected to extender.
Bedroom1: Only coax outlet here as well. Just Extender connected to it. Have mini vox connected via ethernet to extender.
Bedroom2: Only wired for ethernet (ethernet run through walls direct connection to fios router). Mini Vox connected to ethernet.
So at random (appears to be 15-30 min intervals, sometimes can go for an hour), I will get error code on Bedroom1 (V874) saying the connection to DVR has been lost.
For some troubleshooting, I've had Bedroom2 playing at same time and it has no issue.
So other things I've done is swap Minis between Bedroom1 and Bedroom2. Then the error still happened inside bedroom1 so the Minis are working.
Swapped out ethernet cord between extender and mini in bedroom1. Issue still happening.
Swapped out Fios Extenders from family room and bedroom1 (just switched the extenders). Issue still happening.
I've had Tivo service for about 60 days now. Bought Tivo Bolt brand new through eBay and Mini Voxes through Best Buy. This issue started happening only yesterday.
Anyone have any tips on what I can try next or if there is some known issue with my setup and I've just been fortunate til now?
EDIT: Observations when the error happens-->
If I press the LiveTV button in Bedroom1 (assuming I am watching LiveTV) the program resumes playing almost immediately. In the situation where I am watching a recording that is not the case (I assume the mini is trying to search for the bolt again).
Also all of my other devices connected via wifi don't (or at least don't appear to) lost connection.
If for some reason I am wrong about that then that means the disconnect and reconnect is happening so quickly that it is negligible to the human eye but enough for Tivo to complain.
