All in service on Roamio OTA, here's a new one.

Far as I know. All my Tivos have lifetime. When look at devices on account all mention this and say on the right something like all in or lifetime, no further plans available. However the Roamio OTA I got recently under description says xxx with aip plan. And over to the right where it normally says no further plans available it says something like "no future plan selected" instead of no further plans available. It is "regular" lifetime/all in, account status "5". I suppose I should take a picture of the account screen and the system screen on the TV showing "5". Am afraid to contact customer service about it, who knows what they might do. Anyone else seen this on an "all in" device?

My Roamio OTA says:

TiVo Roamio OTA 1TB -
service included

No other service plans
are available for this
device

My Roamio OTA has said that since I got it back in 2016...nothing to worry about

These are my active devices. Bolt and Roamio upgraded to 3TB drives, TiVoHD to 1TB. Just sayin'. ;)

My Roamio is the only one that says that on my "Tivo devices" page, so it is not "normal" in my case.

My Edge units say "Service only, All-in service plan" and "This DVR already has All-in plan service (previously known as Product Lifetime service). No other plans are available."

My Series 3 unit says "TiVo Lifetime Service" and "The device you are trying to change the service on, has no other service plans available."

3 different models, 3 different verbiage. They seem to have had a number of different descriptions thru the years and models. Although I don't recall reading "The device you are trying to change the service on, has no other service plans available" on my S3 until this last time I checked, perhaps something I did triggered a change? Edit: justen_m's HD says the same thing, so maybe
typical normal for S3 units?

Perhaps your Roamio didn't come with lifetime and it was purchased later or some such thing? Could just be a glitch. I would take a screen shot and note the date/time.

But I know what you mean about not wanting to contact CS. Who knows what they might do indeed. Although a recent problem I was having was resolved after a written complaint to the "My Support " section online, although it took a month or so. But yes, it is a risk when you contact CS. "You want another bowl of porridge?"

Is it something that is presently causing an issue?

Not causing an issue at this time, just the options saying no "future plan selected" bothers me. I think a screen shot and a picture of the TV screen showing acct status "5" is a good idea since there are different "types" of lifetime service. Yeah, depending on model what the "device options" says can vary. Some have changed from what they used to be, like S2/S3 and Premiere I believe. However all my Roamios, Bolt and Edges say the same thing under device options. Except the OTA Roamio.

"This DVR already has All-in plan service (previously known as Product Lifetime service). No other plans are available."

This OTA Roamio says:

"No future plan selected. Schedule a future plan" under options.

it does mention AIP under pymt plan:

"Bundle, TiVo Roamio OTA with AIP service"

Premiere now says "Tivo lifetime service" under payment plan and "The device you are trying to change the service on, has no other service plans available" under options.

S2 says "Tivo lifetime service" under payment plan and "Box is Series1 to Series3. No service plans are available for this device"

see my post #4. I posted that my Roamio OTA says same thing. It is something that the Roamio OTA says "no future plan selected"..maybe because the Roamio OTA was a bundle (mine was $200 for Roamio OTA + lifetime)

Again....nothing to worry about. As long as your system info screen says " acct status 5" you're fine. Its lifetime/all in.

I see, missed that post for some reason, maybe because I was not logged in so picture did not show. Yup, same thing. Lifetime Roamios sure are a bargain now, any model, OTA, Basic or Plus/Pro. Love those 3.5 drives, TE3 or TE4, AND you can actually keep/use backup drives since map to recordings is not on the flash drive like with Bolt and Edge, can have library of drives as long as on same OS.
