Can you add a stand alone tivo on the same tv as a directivo? If so, how?

Sure, just think of them as separate devices requiring separate inputs to the TV. Of course the standalone TiVo will require its own signal source, either cable or a regular DirecTV receiver.

And you have to adjust each DVR and its remote to not use conflicting remote addresses.
