6 month Subscription?
Hi,
I'm a long time UK Tivo (series 1) owner in America for a 6 month work assignment and was hoping to get one of these flash modern Tivos you guys enjoy here.
However whenever I check the links on vendors websites they only seem to have deals on 12 months subscriptions. Can someone pls. point me towards a link for more flexible subscription options?

As far as I can tell, 12 months is the shortest commitment term available for new subscriptions. I'm going to be a heretic and suggest that you just rent the cable company's DVR while you're here. I don't see the point in buying a TiVo and working through the service options for six months.
