I've set the machine to the next zip code, FiOS, did a CPL&TDL, connected 3 times to TiVO and I've several days of guide info. Connected to next network, pair the CableCARD and they should be good?

I'm not going to immediately pass ownership for several reasons! His wife didn't seem very interested.

After several connections all of the 'APPS' have populated again. Is there an easy way to rid this machine of the APPS? It's also got something near 70% of recordings still and I thought it easy to just leave there and let them maybe watch, test and learn SKIP etc. Is there an easy way after a couple weeks to 'batch delete' some of these? If they were recorded keeping 25 and KUID will changing the recordings # to a lesser number sort it? It's a 2TB HDD so there's sufficient space left for the near future I'd think.

The 'feet' on the Elite TiVO were destroyed as are most Premiere devices. This package from Home Depot worked using the original TiVO 'push in' retainers. You CAN NOT use the screws in the package, they are to long and would/could damage an internal circuit board. Shorter screws if you don't have the original 'push in' retainers would of course work. Buying other 'push in' retainers of course could work too.

Pairing using the FiOS 'voice response' was no problem. They mention as long as 30 minutes, 12 minutes and done!
