Haven't had cable in ages. Was keeping this just as a server for the 80 or so movies. Think I watched two off of it in a year. Decided to just rip the bandaid off. Reset it and listed it. I used the battery cover from the og remote to fix someone else's, but I'm including the slide remote so you only use the og as backup anyway.
Was always out in the open or in a well ventilated, open back cabinet. Never gave me any problems. I probably have the original drive somewhere and am happy to include it if I find it.
