2nd Tivo - Can I use the same service?
I'm thinking of getting another Series2 Tivo for another room in my house. I have the Lifetime service plan. Will I have to subscribe to another service for the new one?

Tivo stopped offering lifetime subscriptions over a year and a half ago. Currently the only exceptions are certain Humax units that are new / never subscribed previously, and of course lifetime gift cards are still useable.JimSpence said:You can either take out another Lifetime subscription or pay a reduced monthly subscription rate.
To make any use of it, yes, it needs activated with servcie. You can get a discount on monthly service though, since you already have an active TiVo.
