What would you expect from the cult of Romaio , that and a lot of people are still hurting financially.

Yep, my Roamio is still going strong and I inherited a cable/OTA Roamio as a spare.

I’ve got no interest in an Edge if I have to purchase their exorbitant lifetime fees.

I'm not interested either, even at the sale price. I have a Roamio Pro with lifetime, which has 450 hours of HD recording compared to the Edge having only 300. Plus I only have an HD TV. I see no reason to purchase a 4K Edge, especially when I'm afraid TiVo DVRs are dying a slow death. I wonder how many they sold. They can probably count the number of sales on two hands.

I think TiVo is also the only folks selling the hardware now. BB dumped them and the only one selling them on Amazon is the TiVo store.

Used Roamio sales probably higher than Edge...

With cable companies actively refusing to install CableCARDs in some areas TiVo is basically on death watch at this point. Why would anyone spend hundreds of dollars on a TiVo that could stop working at any moment?

I really do love Tivo and have had numerous boxes for decades but it may be time for another company to lead the DVR way.

Yes, through Channel Master. I was talking about through Tivo directly. But even so, I don't think that's a good price for a 2-tuner box. It would be hard to go back to 2-tuners when I've had 4-tuners with my Bolt.
