20.2 Guide Button now too sensative

Since the 20.2 update my Guide Button on the remote seems way too sensitive, often jumping passed the Guide and into the Info Bar. The Remote is only a few months old as is the Premiere. Has anyone else noticed this?

One button press is still one button press here. The new software didn't affect the buttons on my remote.
Try changing your batteries. I don't think 20.2 made changes to your remote. But interference or bad batteries can make it send wonky signals/double presses.
It's not possible for a software update on the TiVo to alter the sensitivity of your remote.

The Slide has always been very sensitive, in case that's the one you're talking about.
I've just started using a Slide myself. We have noticed the same issue with it.

I sent the slide back for this reason.
I haven't noticed any extra sensitivity from my two BT remotes. They seem just as sensitive as my IR remotes. On both one button press translates to one button press, not mulitiple.

Even with my IR remotes I can point them in any direction and the TiVo responds to it. I can even put it behind the couch and the the TiVo responds. But this has typically been how my TiVos have behaved with IR remotes at home over the years.
It's nothing to do with BT vs. IR, it's the Slide specifically (in either mode). It registers a key press if you barely brush it. Leading to a lot of accidental key presses.

But this is my only complaint about the device -- and even then, it's not all bad, because the remote that came with my Premiere was the opposite, requiring hard pressure to get the keys to register, which was even more annoying. I'll take the Slide over that.
My slide remote has a very solid "click" to each key. I can't imagine accidentally brushing a key would cause any trouble.
Is your remote older?
I have found the Slide pretty sensitive also. I would occasionally put the Glo remote in my pocket when I was doing something and never had any issues. With the Slide though I can't because I get random button presses.
To be fair, the Glo remote is IR so it not working while in your pocket doesn't prove that the buttons weren't being pressed or that it is "less sensitive".
To be fair, the Glo remote is RF so it not working while in your pocket doesn't prove that the buttons weren't being pressed or that it is "less sensitive".
The Glo remote is IR not RF based.

I know. Twas a typo.

It does, but the force required to achieve the click is surprisingly low.
I agree about the slider remote being more sensitive - especially if you put it in your pocket to run an errand. Thanks for the post I was thinking it was just me imagining the change
