I have 2 TIVO's on 1 TV, (to expand my memory), and I can't isolate the remote signals,,I tried Aluminum foil , but signals come thru on both TIVO's

In other words,, remote changes both TIVO's , and I have been deleting stored shows inadvertantly on the second machine.

Any suggestions?

You can set each Tivo to its own IR code. For example, you would set the first Tivo to respond to IR code 0 and the second Tivo to respond to IR code 1. There is a detailed explanation in the instruction manual. I can't remember what the steps are off the top of my head, but it's very straightforward.

No, you do not want to set one address "0", they both need to be changed from address "0", to different ones from 1-9.
