2 1/2 Men, People Who Love Peepholes, 9/26/11

Awful, awful, awful. Kutcher was channeling way too much Kelso and it doesn't work here. Unfortunately that seems to be the limits of his ability.

The Berta voiceover was just weird and out of place.

We've been watching this show since episode 1 but made it halfway through this one before deleting it, along with the SP.

That 70's Show should have gone off the air when Eric left. I kept with it and watched the garbage they put out until it was over. This show should have ended with Sheen left/was kicked off. I'm not going to waste my time watching it die this time though.

Agreed that this was just a terrible episode. The Berta stuff was just stupid, and even Alan (who IMO has carried this show) was bad. If this is an indication of how this show will trend, I'm done with it...

I also agree this episode was terrible. Allan is now officially moving back in. So, I'm hoping now the show can become what it's going to become. I'm going to give the show 2-3 more episodes. I'm really realizing how much Charlie meant to this show. I don't think it's going to make it. I hope they prove me wrong.

Wow. Punkd boi's new persona is even more immature than Kelso. And Judy Greer is the woman he's pining for? I expected at least a Cameron Diaz, or someone similar.

How long before we see a billboard with a picture of Sheen captioned "Miss me yet?"

HORRIBLE episode...absolutely mind numbingly horrible.

Not a funny bit in the whole thing.

The clock is ticking for me at least with the new version of the show, if the future eps are anything like this one, I'm putting an end to watching this show.

I'd take Judy Greer over a Cameron Diaz type any day. I love Judy Greer.

Also, glad to see I wasn't the only one that hated it. We deleted several SPs last night. Was wondering if we were just in a bad mood or the shows were really crap.

I know there was a debate after the first episode about Ashton just playing Kelso or not, and I am firmly on the Kelso side after this episode.

I give it 1 more episode to get funny and then I'm out.

What a waste of 20 minutes!

BTW, the half-man got 1 line in the whole episode?
They should rename the show to "Two half-men and Duckie" since Kutcher is nowhere close to being a man.

I didn't think it was that bad. Wasn't a stellar effort, but I took it as a set-up, almost throw-away episode. The goal of the episode was to get Allan living back in the house. They did that. Now I think we will start to see the "real" show. Jury is still out for me. And I only watched a handful of shows last season, so maybe I'm just burned out on the raunchy comedy genre.

Maybe they will pull a "Happy Days" and he will be in his room the rest of series.

Speaking of Duckie, Alan's line about having a Molly Ringwald poster made me laugh. I wonder if they considered doing a Demi Moore joke there?

That would be more than fine with me. He's pretty useless now that he's a teen.

I didn't think it was that bad. The worst was the stale "don't stop" joke.

That's the joke I came here to mention. I loved that they threw that in there.

I believe Ashton has more range than he's shown so far. Hopefully they'll write the character to have a little more depth than just a kid in a rich man's body.

Season pass for the first run episodes deleted.

I'll keep the season pass for the re-runs and will occasionally rewatch the pre-2009 stuff. I thought 2009 ("the Chelsea years") and 2010 were crap.

I laughed a lot, though I *still* think he acts just like Kelso (just like others are now complaining about).

Weird selection of videogames at his house.. Most classics (IIRC, Galaga, Galaxian, Frogger, Donkey Kong.. But the other one was some kind of 'new' Gauntlet game?? New as in a decade or so after the original Gauntlet, AFAIK..) I was totally wondering whether the games were for real (AFAIR, none were turned on), and if the actors were allowed to play them between scenes!!
