I want to upgrade my mom's DVR40 with a 120G drive. I have my >137G ISO and just wonder if I can use this even though I am putting in a 120G drive.

I know, stupid question and I am guessing I can, but just want to be sure.

You'll really like the extra space. I've upgraded both of my DTivos and have yet to run out of space on either one.

Its for my mom. She needs it. All of mine are 250+ which is why I had the >137 ISO. I just happened to find a very cheap 120G drive and thought I would use the >137 ISO instead of burning a <137 version.

Did it work? I've never had any luck putting a bigger image on a smaller drive.
