There is a Yule Log (fireplace) that will be showing for 5 hours on Christmas Eve on the WGN HD station.

Rather than Christmas music (which I prefer), it will have old radio show broadcasts. However, the log is a great faux fireplace all year long.

Set up a Wish List to see where and when it plays in your area.

Darnit. I prefer Christmas music with my Yule log and I have it set to record. I can always mute it and grab CDs but without a multiple CD changer that gets old pretty soon.

Gee, it's not like any company has popularized a tiny little device that can hold thousands and thousands of songs or anything.

Just remember that an HD Yule log burns a little hotter. ;)

FWIW, I get a Yule Log channel (natural sound) on my satellite service, Starchoice in Canada, for the month of December. I also get a Tree channel (lit outdoor tree) with tunes (a copy of one of the holiday music channels). Christmas day will bring an HD fire.
