Freeze in Heaven, ABC.
Or whatever the opposite of 'burn in hell' should be.
I believe the phrase is "Rejoice in Heaven"
Canceled after two episodes! And yet, the promos for Work It called it a "New HIT Comedy" for Tuesday night. Can you call a show canceled after two episodes a HIT? Man, you can't believe anything you hear anymore...
Seriously, I don't get how they can do that. Isn't that some sort of false advertising? I see this a lot with shows claiming to be the "New hit drama" or "#1 new show" when they are obviously none of the above.
"New Hit show" is a vague and subjective enough terminology that it qualifies as simple puffery. In other words, "It's a hit" -- with those who like it.
From what I've seen, they usually won't say something like #1 unless they can qualify it somehow. The qualification might be rather esoteric, like "#1 in the 22-24 female demographic" but it's probably still an accurate statement.
Maybe they are watching election ads.
Now we'll never be able to discover the nuances and motivations behind the main characters and watch them grow and gel as a team. Hopefully they'll continue with either straight-to-video episodes or webisodes or whatever the kids are calling it these days.
Oh wait. Those were dudes? I totally couldn't tell!! I'm gonna have to start paying closer attention to people around my office.
And now, this thread has lasted longer than the series has.
