    Synopsis:

[Two guys decide to dress and act as women during the daytime in order to keep jobs as pharmaceutical reps turn into their normal selves at night when they hang out together at their local bar. ]

I liked it better when it was called "Bosom Buddies".

    I give it 6 episodes.

Was never a fan of Bosom Buddies and this one doesn't appeal to me either. I'd rather they bring back Cougar Town

This does not seem appealing at all.

Bosom Buddies was funny for awhile and had a great cast. But I can't believe they are basically remaking it. Not interested.

I give it two episodes. I think viewers will stay away in droves.

What do these tv execs think?
Are they connected at all to reality?

No, it's totally different from Bosom Buddies, because in Bosom Buddies, the men had to dress as women to find a place to live. In the new show, they have to dress as women to find a place to work. So totally different. ;)

The problem is, we're smarter than the average viewer here :D It would not shock me if it's a hit. There's some real crap on TV that are huge hits, and some real quality stuff that can't get ratings no matter what.

Just like New Girl and Three's Company are completely different.

    Everything old is new again.

Kind of a different era though. Three's Company was different in that back in the 1970s, a guy living with 2 girls in a platonic relationship would have been considered rare and scandalous, which is why they had to add in that the Ropers thought Jack was gay. Does anyone actually blink twice these days if a girl lives with 2 or more guys in that kind of relationship? It's just not that big a deal anymore.

I though "pharma girls" were supposed to be über-hot...

This. The show is a failure based on the premise alone.

I never thought that cross-dressing was that funny. Mel Brooks left me cold and offended me. I think it is a put down of women usually. Now if it was about two actual transexuals or drag queens it could be funny.

I'll try it, since I'll try any sitcom (well, not CW). But on the surface, yeah, it appears doomed.

And like all sitcoms, it will be highly dependent on who they cast as the leads, and who the writers are. Sometimes a poorly written or conceived show can be saved by a great lead or leads (think 2 Broke Girls). And shows that on the surface seemed doomed can be a ray of light with superb writing (think Big Bang Theory).

This new show should be called "A Pair of Boobs" because the guys are boobs to think that people will buy them as women. And, as an homage to "Bosom Buddies", it works the double-entendre into the title. :)

I should be in Hollywood writing this crap. Talk about an easy $25K per week.

This is the perfect sitcom for people who thought According to Jim was too edgy.
