Will wall mounting a tivo hd above my receiver cause any problems

    I am wall mounting everything above my tv. It going to save me a lot space:) also looks better.

    If i wall mount my tivo hd 6" above my receiver will it cause any problems with heat and tv reception from my antenna? I cant mount it beside my receiver because my cat moogie can jump on it there:(

    If you have good ventilation, you should be okay. I have a TiVo about 6" above the top of my Yamaha receiver. I did add a quiet fan on top of the receiver to increase airflow.

    I dont see how it can be any worse than putting it inside an enclosed entertainment cabinet. It'll have better airflow there than in a cabinet. Only thing I'd watch out for is to make sure you dont have a heating vent blowing on it.
