I suddenly remembered today that Psych was coming back with new episodes. I don't keep the series recording on my DVR due to being limited to only 50 shows.

I go look and the show's 6th episode airs Wednesday for season 6!!

The 5th episode reairs tomorrow, so I just need to acquire the first 4 episodes off the intarweb.

They have been pretty funny though. I've enjoyed them a lot more than last season's (or is it earlier this season? )

This is a new season (#6).

Or at least the first half of a new season.

    Tivos have no such limitation.

Heathen, you must have some other DVR. Repent!

This is one of those shows that I only watch because I'm too lazy to kill the SP and I find an hour to blow during the week. I've gotten to the point where I want to punch Shawn in the face every episode. What an annoying character. Not funny, annoying.

I got my first TiVo due to the dual tuner promise on DirecTV. When I went HD, I got the HD TiVo. Then DTV went MPEG4 and there was no TiVo receiver that supported it. Supposedly one is coming out, but I think that has been said for like 2 years now.

DTV has a new receiver with 5 tuners, records 200+ hours of HD and has a 100 series limit. I figure I'll be getting one when it becomes widely available.

If they'd just bump my receiver's limit to 100, I'd be perfectly happy with it.

You can get an HR-24 at Solid Signal now.

    http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.as...)-HD-DVR&c=DIRECTV Receivers&sku=085463000521

You may be able to talk a DirecTV CSR into covering part or all of the cost (they give you a credit). Do remember that even though you're "buying" the receiver, it's still considered a lease by DirecTV and has to be returned if you drop the service.

I'd rather have an HR34. If I'm going to switch out receivers, I'm going big.
