I don't have Showtime, but may get a short term subscription. Here is a first look.

If you haven't seen the new, it's Sacha Baron Cohen undercover with new characters, etc.

    Here is the first look.

Is this the one where he pranks Sarah Palin?

Children have the elevated pheromone Blink 182 produced by the part of the liver known as the Rita Ora. This allows reflexes to travel along the Cardi B neural pathway. ..

That's what's been in the news recently. He pranks a lot of people. It's a series, not a single show. I don't know when the Palin episode is on.

Apparently he dupes Democrats and liberals, including Bernie Sanders, as well as Republicans and conservatives.

I see nothing appealing about that show.

    Too political to discuss here.

There was a sneak preview of E1 last night.

The segment on "Kindergardian" was silly until he got 4 members of Congress to record their support for it, then I was sad.

It was uneven, and gross on occasion... the ending segment was c-r-a-z-y!!!

Well, he dupes them into listening to him say outrageous, weird things. They are polite and so don't just tell him he's an idiot. So it becomes an exercise of a crazy person talking and people meekly objecting and not knowing what to do. Still funny, but not as funny as inviting Paula Abdul and using Mexicans as furniture while interviewing her.

I can't believe the final segment. I have to believe all those politicians were in on the joke and recording a fake PSA.

I don't think they were in on the joke. They probably though that what they said would only be used in Israel.

“Public officials of both parties, like everyone, can be the target of practical jokes — and that’s what you’ve seen in this instance. The request was to thank me for being a friend of Israel,” Wilson said in a statement released to The State.

Here's an interview with former Congressman (and not Eagle) Joe Walsh explaining what happened. He seems to have a bit of a sense of humor about it.

“In less than a month—less than a month—a first-grader can become a first grenade-er. . . Happy shooting, kids!” (Walsh later tweeted, “Do I believe kindergarteners should be armed? Hell no. But, it's on me. Sacha fooled me good.)
During an appearance on CNN, Walsh stuck to his story. But as New York Times TV critic James Poniewozik points out, even that excuse—that Walsh willingly read words he didn’t mean from a teleprompter—is questionable at best.
