This is a duplicate request.
My hard drive died. I need an image for TCD648250B.
I sent you something
May I also get a Series 3 TiVo TCD648250B image?
My TIVO HD TCD652160 HDD failed
Can I please get an image
I would like an 648/S3 image .tbk also, please.
Thanks so much! Worked like a CHAMP!
I have a Series 3 - TCD648250B
I am trying to recover from an S03 error as I have Lifetime on it.
loaded WinMFS and backed up Tivo and Bootpage from drive removed from Tivo
reloaded to same drive, - still get S03
Loaded just Bootpage - didn't work
Got another drive (previously windows) loaded, and still get error.
I think I need the bootpage file, is that correct?
If so, can anybody help me out?
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise!
You cannot just copy the bootpage as the Error S03 is related to old guide data that its trying to remove (garbage collection).
It can take days to clear out.
Also you would need to get the capacitors replaced if it hasn't already.
It may also be time to get a new drive.
If you are going to use this for cable, it will not work on SDV/MPEG4 channels. Best for OTA.
Otherwise, I can send you an image, its for the entire drive.
That would be great if you can send the image. I am ok losing what is on there.
I am using a relatively new and known good drive.
I did the capacitor replacements a while back (thanks to this forum).
So I am assuming it's the drive. Would that be reasonable?
Thanks so much!
Thanks for the assistance with the image!
I followed your instructions.
Restoring the drive took only about 30 seconds on a 1TB drive.
Supersize - when I chose "on" for this option, I got "sorry! MfsSupersized failed!" - However, things still worked out
The first update after going through guided setup and doing a "clear and delete everything" got me to version .648 and filled in my TSN correctly from all zeros.
The clear and delete went through several screens in about 45 minutes then it went blank. After a few hours I connected old school Analog cables (RCAs with Yellow, Red, and White) and changed the inputs on my TV. There it was, all good to go! I guess it defaulted to a different video setting that was not using HDMI.
Everything is looking good as new!

Its not really necessary to Supersize and restores a little space. Its alright if it failed, as it can only be used once.
