When will Tivo support Linksys USB200M ver2 ??

    so will Tivo ever support the USB200M? or should I just go to the store and buy a ver.1, and burn the version 2 plus post pics

    As TiVoJerry said, they are working on it, but IMO I wouldn't count on it.

    Support for this adapter is available now with a pre-release version of SW, which was made available early just to support the SMC 2862W-G v3 and Linksys USB200M v2. You can sign up to get this SW by following the links on www.tivo.com/adapters.

    When we officially start the release of the new SW, your unit will be upgraded again to the final release version.

    All that I ask is that you kindly refrain from discussing the new features that come with this SW so that people don't sign up unnecessarily. Multiple downloads cost us only a slight amount of money extra, but it throws off our normal rollout procedure to have extra units running the SW. Plus, it's never a good thing to have people talking about a new feature that isn't available to the masses, especially if we're still in the process of finalizing it.

    Keeping in mind that if this prerelease to the public causes us too many problems (I'm being vague here because so many things could be construed as a "problem"), it may affect future decisions if a similar situation arises.
