I kept my old TiVo box and am wondering how it might be utilized.

    It’s a HDR312 by Philips, model number PTV300. (is this considered a Series 1 ?)

Attached my rooftop antenna and fed output to my LG TV (2017) and get nothing
at all on the screen. Would a analog to digital converter help?

I seem to recall it had a Lifetime sub, anyway to confirm that?

Can this old unit be used as DVR for Nest or Wyze security cameras?

    Thx

The HDR312 is a Series 1 unit, which means it doesn't get guide data anymore. It'll still work for recording off the composite/S-video connections manually, but other than that it's not good for much.

And don't ever wipe it or you'll get boned in Guided Setup mode.

I’ve got an S2D2 that’s been sitting in a box in my basement since 2009. It was working perfectly when I replaced it with a THD. I guess I need to take it to an electronics recycling turn-in event.
