Going through the closet and found my old Philips DSR6000R receiver I'd put aside after dropping DirecTV several years ago. Not sure it is worth eBaying given the age. Any suggestions for what to do with it now?

There is little demand for Directv Series 1 units, but e-bay be better than building up more dust. Plus you will have that much more closet space.

eBay's your best bet. Somebody might want it for parts.

Maybe pull the 40GB drive and use it in a PC.

I have a DRS6000 with a Silicon Dust CacheCard (network card+512MB Ram for database cache speed-up) for anyone interested. Send me a PM.
