    I like Scrooged.
It's a Wonderful Life is also a great movie.
I like the American Dad Christmas episodes too. Not really movies but still different and fun.

I think Will Ferrell is funny but most of his movies are pretty bad, but I love Elf. I grew up watching Rudolph, and Elf is such a great takeoff on that show.

Plus, my kids think Elf is hilarious and we watch it together a couple of times each Christmas season. Comparing Elf to some of the other shows my kids watch, which are just unwatchable for adults, makes me love it even more.

So far, we've watched The Polar Express, The Santa Clause, Christmas Vacation and The Santa Clause 2. I think the kids watched The Santa Clause 3, too. I'm sure we'll sneak in a few more over the next few weeks. Even if it's just me, I'll be watching Santa Claus is Coming to Town. That's the one that always makes me feel like a kid.

I left Polar Express off my list, but that's another one we always watch. We have the Polar Express train set that we put under our tree.

I think The Santa Clause 1 and 2 are very good movies and seem a little underrated. The Santa Clause 3 is pretty bad but of course my kids think it's the best one of the three.

Polar Express is one of those movies that I just don't get why folks are so in love with it. The dead eyed CGI kids in it creep me out and the whole thing just doesn't appeal to me at all. And don't get me started on the Josh Grobin song ! GAG!

Two Xmas favorites of mine as a kid were.

    Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas
    Freddie the Freeloader's Christmas Dinner

I hadn't seen them in decades and found them on the internets last year and watched them. I still have them on my computer. I should watch them again this year. I'm not saying they hold up, but I watched them so many times as a kid. It was just great seeing them again.

My GF and I each have a favorite show that we watch each year around Christmas. She always chooses "It's a Wonderful Life" and I always choose "Love Actually".

At least I have them both on BD now. So I have them both ripped to an ISO which makes it easier when we sit down to watch them.

I feel the same way about the look of it, but they were trying to duplicate the look of the illustrations in the book. It creeps me out a little, but my kids love it.

No winter season is complete without a viewing of Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.

I've watched Rudolph and Frosty. I recorded Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, but haven't watched it yet. I like Die Hard, but don't want to watch it on regular TV, since the substitutions are more distracting than Bruce Willis actual cussing.

Added: Almost forgot about the Home Alone movies. I love 1, 2, and 3. There's also a HA 4, but I wasn't thrilled with that one.

I've now watched a bunch of movies, including a few I haven't in many years like Jingle All the Way and Die Hard. Still a few I will watch. Haven't seen Home Alone or A Christmas Story or Scrooged yet. I want to get all of the Santa Clause ones on Blu-Ray. Amazon had a deal for $25 but I missed it. Now it's $35+ everywhere.

I watched just the end of "It's a Wonderful Life" last night. By the end, I was crying. I only picked it up when he went into Martini's.

Several years ago, I started my own personal tradition. Every year I buy a new Christmas Blu Ray. This year I bought 3-"Love Actually," "Bad Santa," and "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles."

I watched "Love Actually" last night. Hubby and I will watch the other two in the next few days.
