Now that the 2010-2011 fall shows are over, and the summer season has pretty much started what they are going to show, what are your "Hits" for freshman shows?

Shameless and Walking Dead are my favorites. I also enjoy Raising Hope.

Episodes took some time to grow on my but by the end had me hooked. GREAT show! Only thing that could make it better would be to fire Matt Leblanc!

I like Hot in Cleveland and Happily Divorced too. It's like watching 80's sitcoms.

    Boardwalk Empire
    Bob's Burgers
    Episodes
    Game of Thrones
    Walking Dead
    Falling Skies
    Mike & Molly
    Hawaii Five-O
    Body of Proof

There's probably 3 or 4 that I'm forgetting (or got canceled way too early).

    Boardwalk Empire
    Game of Thrones
    Raising Hope
    Outsourced (BIH NBC)
Love Bites (BIH everyone who didn't watch this)
    Suits
Terriers (BIH FX and everyone who didn't watch this)
Falling Skies (what shows like V or The Event could have been with better writing)

We enjoyed Love Bites, but we have/had no desire to watch any of the other shows mentioned above.

I only listed shows that were renewed. There were several more I liked, but if they didn't get picked up, love don't matter. Outsourced, for example.

One show! No others? No GoT, no nothing?

Nope...we don't pay for premium channels...plus I've never gotten into those kind of shows (GoT).

I think you're the first, and I'm the second.

This show got HORRIBLE reviews (from both the press & on the net like here), but I thought it was very entertaining.. at least the almost-5 episodes I've seen so far (one ep started late, possibly due to an Obama speech?.. and I didn't realize it and have only been watching them recently, so can't get the rest online anymore).

But I think it's been entertaining. Some have actually been fairly raunchy for network TV.. and I admit I'm not always sure when the actors are playing the same characters and when they aren't.. But it's still entertaining.

I'm the third, and I put it on my list. I thought it was the best of the ensemble romantic themed comedy/dramedy/sitcoms that came out. I know the reviews were horrible and nobody watched, but I thought it was cleverly written, with believable situations and was a generally fun show to watch with the Mrs. But I knew it was doomed when I liked it. The show in this vein that I thought was the absolute worst...Happy Endings...is the one that seems to have caught on. Shows you what I know.

I liked Love Bites too; cute show, *really* like Becki Newton, like Greg G, thought the stories (and the way they intertwined) were funny. The episode where Greg & Constance Z get high, "Sky High", was hilarious.

But I only listed shows that were picked up for another season. There were many shows *I* liked, that Main Street America didn't share my love for.

Don't blame NBC - the show started throwing stuff at the screen to see what would stick (for example, the guy from the hunting catalog getting fired and having to work for Mid-American Novelties). I'm slightly surprised it lasted as long as it did.

I find it hit-and-miss. Then again, for which Fox shows is this not a true statement?

Well I liked it, and I didn't find that they used that approach at all. And I went into the show very skeptical, because I was hoping they wouldn't glorify outsourcing considering the economy here. But what we got was a fun fish out of water story and some interesting take on Indian Culture.

And it was gorgeous to watch in HD. My TV hasn't experienced color like that since PD was canceled.
