Would I be able to watch recordings on my TiVo if I let my subscription lapse?
Yes. Any recordings already on the "Now Playing" list(Premiere "My Shows") are always there to be viewed, regardless of subscription status, until and unless you delete them.
Of course, after it lapses, no new recordings can be made.
Thank you for the quick response. I thought so but wanted to make sure.
Unfortunately with the high price of Comcast cable (also losing tv for three days because my cable card was no longer activated; it took forever to get a tech that would listen to me about reactivating it) I am going to Dish. Over the air is not an option at the moment (I am addicted to Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Dexter etc.)
I just wait until Dexter comes out on Blu-ray or DVD, but I guess that does take a bit of patience. Could you watch those shows in some streaming format?
AMC's shows are not offered on the regular streaming services (Netflix, Amazon) they are offered for purchase but that can get expensive ($3 an episode). Also my wife is addicted to the Food Network.
I am sorry to let TiVo go; I have been with them since my SVR-2000.
TPB is your friend.
