We started watching Doogie Howser and two completely different significant plot points within the first three episodes basically hinged on "Isn't statutory rape hilarious?" and then third episode comes into all kinds of ethics/consent issues when Doogie has to perform emergency surgery on his girlfriend (without her parent's consent for a variety of reasons). It's...painful. The problematic aspects of IDoJ were part of what got us talking about a reboot and what could be done RIGHT instead of, well, horrifically wrong.
