Probably. It's the same cycle repeated over and over again. Right now they're in the "settled-in-and-making-a-new-life-for-themselves" phase. No doubt this will be disrupted soon and they will be in turmoil, lose some members and on the run again to make a life elsewhere (or there), etc, etc....

    Yet still I watch :D:rolleyes:

I don't think whole-season threads make sense. I'm often behind on my TV watching, and so I tend to stay away from whole-season threads to avoid spoilers. For example, if I'm always one episode behind, like I've been with The Deuce, I can't participate until the season it over!

And this is DVR-oriented forum, so we're all probably time-shifting to some extent!

If someone creates an episode thread, I'm sure there will be some posts!

This rings true for streaming shows even more where some watch an entire season in a couple of days and discussions begin. Often, however, the threads are not big so I get the whole season thing.

On the other hand we are all capable of starting episode (or episode range for streaming) threads so the choice is ours really to wait or start one.

More stupidity... the thing with the log -- I don't care how scared you are, if two people are below a 1 ton log you're lifting together, you're not going to just drop it on them.. and even more stupid, if you're UNDER a one ton log and people are freaking out, GET OUT FROM UNDER THE LOG!

Also, one of the saviors is obviously going to follow Rick and find out where Neegan is captive and let him out. Hilarity ensues.

So I have FFWD through both episodes and watched a total of 10 minutes TOPS.
Anything happen in 1st two episodes outside of
    Gregory being killed.
Some drama between Ricks crew and the old saviors.
    That dude losing his arm.

-- The king and Carol doin' it.
-- One of the sentries saw a blinking light in the sky. Possibly an airplane or helicopter.

Better yet why are two jackasses lifting a 1Ton log by themselves when they are staring a two mules tied to a tree?

Either the title of this thread needs to be changed to encompass both episodes, or all the posts pertaining to the second episode should be removed.

    I vote for season thread.

By the way, as AMC has been promoting this season as "Rick Grimes Final Episodes".. does that foreshadow his exit/demise from the show, or is it really the show's actual last season?

I went ahead and created an E2 thread: The Walking Dead "The Bridge" S9 E2 OAD 10-14-18

I suppose if anyone wants to create an all-season thread, that's their prerogative... but it seems to me an episode thread allows more people to participate.

If you want a season thread, create a season thread: you don't have to vote for it. But, please avoid posting spoilers for E02 in this (E01) thread. It would be nice if people went back and either spoilerized or deleted their E02-related posts as well.
