Do we know for fact that the entire world is dead? The CDC guy said it was 190+ days since "wildfire" had been declared, but only day 63 since it went global. It could be just that the U.S. has been wiped out and has been considered lost but the disease is still in the spreading stage overseas. Admittedly, we don't know exactly when he made the video proclaiming those dates.

No, but my point stands even if we are only talking about the eastern half of the US being wiped out. Although I think that is very unlikely to be the case (that the damage is not more widespread)

Seems a lot crueler to wait until your sister transitions from dead to undead before blowing her brains out.

She waited to say bye when she was "living" or rather moving. They definitely exaggerated that scene making the zombie reach out and brush her hair and stare deeply into her eyes.

But yea, if you are bitten; take the bullet. Why leave the 1 guy sitting up against a tree? Now he can go infect even more people and cause bigger problems. I'm sure that's not the last we'll see of him, if the show is renewed.

On the other hand, what's the practical difference between billions of zombies and billions plus one zombies? As long as they don't have a strategy to kill all zombies (and how could they at this point, if ever?), then their only effective tactic is killing all zombies that attack them, or could attack them. Some guy who won't be a zombie until he's hundreds of miles away is far, far down the threat list.

If you are going to want to watch the comic, I can guarantee you that you will likely be disappointed.

AMC hasn't announced it, but speculation is that it would be late next year, probably around Halloween again.

Filming reportedly begins in January, which doesn't mean much since cable shows often shoot insanely far in advance.

They might not care if there's 1 more zombie, but you'd think Jim would want to be saved from that. I kept waiting for him to beg them to kill him.

    At the gun...
Well I can't speak for some of the unprepared losers around here, but I could take care of a good part of the city of Houston. And that's a pretty big city.

That's only if 9mm is effective against them. If not, well then put me down for only about 1/16th of the city.

I think you'd need a partner for a city, since the zombies tend to congregate in large groups in cities. The partner could have a machine gun and take out the legs of the zombies in a herd, to slow them down enough for you to put bullets in their brains. You'd also want a good pair of boots, since before long you'd have to be climbing over mountains of disabled zombies. Maybe a hat, too.

    And a poncho.

Why not just shoot them all in the head with the machine gun in the first place?

He wanted to be left alone so he could turn into a zombie. His family was killed by zombies and might have turned and he thought dying and turning himself may be a way to see them again.
