I have a series 3 HD in the living room. I'd like to view the content from the bedroom at night.

Is there a wireless HD video sender/receiver? SD version of this device is common. Or is there something that would relay HD video via ethernet that I can attach to a wireless bridge? Although, something like this would probably introduce more compression artifacts and perhaps some delay.

Otherwise, I'd have to run a very long HDMI cable from the living room to the bedroom.

Next issue is remote extender. Any one that works particularly well for Tivo?

Get a TiVoHD and transfer the shows.

Sling might have something, if the Sling catcher does HD from an HD SlingBox.

Over Cat 5 directly (not ethernet), you might be able to do HDMI or component video.

I have heard of 5.8Ghz HD video senders.

Or you could run HD cabling (HDMI or component) directly to the other set.

Is this the feature called multi room view? Some thread said this feature is disabled?

Also, won't I need to have an active subscription to do this?

Yes. They didn't say it was the cheapest solution. :)

Yes, you would need a second hd tivo, a subscription, and activated multi-room viewing. In some instances, copy protection may prevent transfers from one tivo to the other.
