A really good first episode of the season. So many laughable comments that it's hard to keep track. "If you want my speech to use my own words, write them down for me". (not an exact quote, but close)

Jesus, Mary and Jamba Juice, I really wanted that smoothie! :D

I love how "Little Richard" cries every time Selina comes near him! Ba ha haaaaaaaaaaaa!

Marjorie: Catherine is suffering from post-partum depression...
    Selina: How could you tell?
Gary (in a stage whisper): That haircut! :p

I love how everyone and their brother (including Tom James, of course) is running for President-just like IRL...

Selina didn't know who she wanted to hire as campaign manager-and of course the one she wanted turned up working for Tom James...and they keep the one they hired out of the loop ("Still waiting for that wifi password!")

How did I not realize that Andrea Savage (of I'm Sorry) plays Laura Montez?

I think we are off to a roaring start!

Yes, this show is so rapid fire it begs to be watched twice. Dan seems like a much bigger dick this season. Love how Jonah’s marrying his stepsister improved his polling (with white males).

There are so many great lines spewed out it would take a book to list them...
    "He's tapped into something"
    "Yes, his step-sister"

Everyone loves Jonah's wife and they hate him, of course-

And Patton Oswalt's character is still a massive pervert-

I was impressed by how much they managed to fit into the episode-and all those mass shootings-certainly not funny but the way that the campaign tried to exploit them? Definitely funny-in a sad, tragic way, of course!

Just remembered something that almost made me do a spit take-When Selina gets off the plane at the wrong airport in Iowa, she says, "I am...." and Gary feeds her, "Selina Meyer..." BA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Now I have to watch the episode again, as I don't even remember seeing Andrea Savage. D'oh!

Aside from that, I do recall enjoying the new episode and am glad to see the show back. :)

I think it was just in the "previously on"...where they showed Andrea being sworn-in and then taking credit for Tibet.

Oh thanks! :) I went ahead and cranked it up on HBO Go and it seems like I remember little from the episode. What is sad about that is that I watched it just yesterday.

The Jonah camp is so funny with Diedrich Bader and Patton Oswalt. Oswalt always rather creeped me out, as he is usually a kind of George Costanza toad-like character. But he's pretty funny. I've liked Bader since Drew Carey Show.

I didn't even recognize Selina's daughter. Wonder what's up with the wig.

Just got caught up on this episode. This series is so fantastic. Just sitting here chuckling at all the lines everyone is reposting.

Jonah is such a dick (but so hilarious).

    This show is so genius.

there are so many subtle layers of funny...

when dan and amy are talking about the baby.. and Dan is talking about, I forget what exactly... but basically saying he's such a great guy, and is so caring, and maybe about how great a dad he would be cuz he's so considerate and nice.. .and then going through the doorway, nudging amy out of the way, instead of holding the door open for her.....

    genius

Yeah, the guide for HBO was kind of messed up. My recording for John Oliver's show was a 3-fer - it was an hour and half including Veep and Barry, with Oliver's show in the last 30 minutes of the 90 minute recording.

I don't even know how Rovi screwed that up so bad.
