It seems the days of the HR10-250 are running out. At least if you plan on recording any of the newer D* HD programming.

But, on Weaknees.com they're selling HR10-250 boxes at a MUCH higher price than comparable HR2X boxes.

    Any thoughts??

There are some people that absolutely want to have an HR10-250...
And for them... there is a vendor that will sell it to them.

Well, I can see how the higher price may trick buyers (suckers) into getting one, but honestly, isn't it out dated??

    Wanna buy mine?!? ;)

The HR10 can still record OTA HD and DirecTV SD.
Seems to have some worth there!

Some folks don't like to mess with Ebay (who could blame them) and simply want a unit with a warranty. Are the prices a tad high? Yes ...but there really isn't any other place you can buy one.

How about this.....the HR20's are regular price and are, therefore, LEASED. Despite the double talk about convincing DirecTV that they are owned based on the price (yeah, lie to DirecTV because you bought a unit with a larger drive so the price appears that you didn't lease the unit).
