I guess for the V, getting a little tail is something to be avoided...
An actual tie in to the 80's series.
That's Jane Badler in the final scene as Anna's mother.
Not sure why the above is a spoiler. She's listed as a guest star in the credits and it was announced months ago on V's Facebook page. The news would've come across in your FB feed if you were a fan of/liked the official V page.
There have also been plenty of press about and interviews w/the actress about it.
Why did Anna's mother have her human skin on? Was that still on the ship or was Anna transported into some earthly cave?
Killer body on Laura Vandervoort. She must be a small reptile to fit into that human suit.
Nice to see Bret Harrison-loved him on Reaper
"Anna's a reptile? Bummer! She's so hot!"
I think this was a good return although I could have used a bit more refresher. It's been a long time since it's been on. I didn't remember the wife who had the V baby dying but maybe she did.
I love how Anna is such a good manipulator. Both to humans and V's. The tail is new
I'm glad that Chad Decker is finally understanding that Anna is plotting something and he'll be used in 5th Column. I bet we have a few more moments that will make it seem like he's playing both sides though.
Because the thread title doesn't signify spoilers and some people here get bent if things like that are said openly here.
If you'd been here a little longer, you'd know that specific episode threads are by forum rules ALWAYS considered spoiler threads.
I was just trying to avoid the fight.
But now you have to fight with those of us who are fighting to prevent the Spoiler Nazis from gaining one more inch of ground in the never-ending battle! PUT UP YOUR DUKES!!
Well. That was interesting. After all the Sturm und Drang last season, a dream sequence, and Anna goes live from the mothership and it's all "Nothing to see here, move along. move along." WTHell?
Careful, Ty. Your girlfriend just might be your cousin!
Anna seems to have anger management issues.
Just a humble suggestion to the show's DP: it's 2011, not 1984. You might want to rethink lighting Ms Badler from overhead. I'd go with more diffusion.
For those interested, the original series is streaming on Netflix.
Ah yes, the Star Trek method.
I think Tyler likes getting it.
Of course, I do have to wonder what how he's going to react when he finds out that Lisa is really a reptile.
The first minute or so made me wonder if I was watching FlashForward though.
And is Erica overdramatic much?
"I need some blood."
(Erica takes a knife and cuts her hand)
Gee Erica, ever hear of needles and vacuum test tubes?
I'm still having a hard time with Ryan being able to procreate with a human without any help from advanced medicine and I don't get the breeding thing at all.
After all, Anna seemed to be able to churn out a bunch kidlets without too much trouble.
And do all aliens find humans so attractive that they would love to have sex with us?
That said, I did enjoy seeing Brett Harrison again.
So now with Anna's mom being the head V from the first series, are the events from the first series supposed to have happened in the new continuity? I mean they couldn't of, right?
I'm hoping it's just stunt casting for Anna's mom and that it doesn't relate to the older series since I didn't see that one.
LOL! I laughed and said the same thing to my girlfriend when we were watching.
I remember reading this article of some guy that was upset that TV and movies often have characters cutting their palms so often.
His points were that a cut on your palm is very painful and takes a long time to heal since the skin moves around a lot and comes into contact with so many things. It's a bad cliche and needs to stop.
That action was retarded. However Laura Vandervoort's hot body made me forgive the show, this time.
Not unless they pull a War of the Worlds.
Too late for this, but they were doing reruns of the original mini, The Final Battle and TOS on SyFy channel a few days earlier.
As far as I know, it's not supposed to. In one interview w/Jane Badler, she mentioned something along the lines that she she was explicitly told that this Diana isn't that same as the one in TOS.
