USB RF Dongle on TiVO Bolt - Is it supported?

I'm looking to extend the RF range of my TiVO Bolt by attaching a TiVO RF USB adapter to the end of a long USB cable. Does the Bolt support the RF USB adapter considering that it has a built-in RF transceiver?

Use case: My living room TiVO Bolt is tucked away in an AV closet on the far side of my apartment. (Video is transmitted over Cat6 with an HDBaseT system.) Between the distance and the metal lathe / rebar in the wall walls, the remote can't communicate with the Bolt over RF. The HDBaseT system has a built-in IR extender, but vox functions don't work over IR.
