Upgrading the drive on Pioneer 810

    If I use Instantcake to create a new but larger hard drive for my unit, does it carry over all my Lifetime Tivo services?

    Service is based on your Tivo Service number and not the hard drive. The service number is actually hard encoded in a chip on the motherboard and it uses it to encode recordings.
