    Hello,

Is there a way to insert a new version of FFMPEG into a working installation of PyTivoX? Everything works fine but the resolution isn't great. I like to be able to launch the Mac app rather than deal with terminal windows. Recent Mac OS killed PyTivo but I got PyTivoX to work.

Also, when I launch PyTivoX I get asked if I want allow or deny python? Can I just set it to "yes" and avoid the prompt?

    Thanks,

    Doug

It was last month when you asked that question in the TTG forum. Perhaps there is no answer? :)

That would be hard to believe. If the answer is "no" but here is an easier way to use PyTivo that's ok too. ;-)

Have you looked in the install folder? In Windows the ffmpeg it uses is installed in a sub folder called ffmpeg. Usually you can just replace the files in there with a newer build...
