I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and have a TIVO HD and the guide shows To Be Announced for one of my HBO channels and two Showtime and one Starz channels. I either have to select them or look them up on my computer on the Xnfinity site to see what is playing or what is scheduled to be shown. This problem started a few weeks ago. The Comcast DVR in my living room doesn't have the problem, just the TIVO in my bedroom. Also, the guide shows channel 804, which is the IDHD channel, but I can't access it. I have to watch it on a non HD channel, #271.

Two questions: What does zap2it show for the lineup that your TiVo is configured to use? Is there another lineup available that does show the correct program data?

Thanks for telling me about Zap2it. I had not used it, but I've now signed up for it and connected my Tivo account to it. As far as I can see, the channel information is the same as the Xfinity site. My Tivo is set for Comcast in my zip code and digital format and Zap2it is the same. The information for the missing HBO, Starz, and Showtime channels appears on Zap2it, but it is not on my TIVO. So, I'll have to look up the channel info on Zap2it or Xfinity if I want to know what is scheduled for those channels, which is inconvenient.:( I prefer Xfinity because i can use filters to only show the HD channels. Also, my TIVO application on the iPad and iPhone also do not have all the channel information.

This is very odd. TiVo gets their program information from the same source, Tribune Media Services(which owns zap2it). What exactly does your TiVo System Information have for "Cable Provider"? And what is your zip code?

Has there been any updates regarding a resolution to the "to be announced" issue?
From the thread, it looked like a fix had an ETA a few days back. I still have this problem on my Tivos.
    Thanks.

Yup - amazing, isn't it. Use the tools and procedures outlined by a company and you get fast results!

I've had lineup changes in the past - dunno why the cable companies insist on screwing with things that don't need to be changed, but here we are. I've filled out the form and like you usually within 5 business days it's taken care of.

Reminds me, they swapped a few things around and Tivo hasn't picked 'em up yet - time to fill out the form myself.

Did you use the Tivo provided form that puts the entire group dedicated to lineup issues on notice that you have a problem?

    http://www.tivo.com/setupandsupport/contactsupport/lineup_tool.html

Might be a good place to start.

    /just saying

I've used the report a lineup form a few times and the problem has always been fixed within a few days.
