Still liking the show, but after only two previous episodes I found myself looking for anything the camera lingered on at the beginning of the show. I knew that whatever stuck out on the way to the initial crime scene would likely figure in later in her flashbacks.

I picked out the homeless guy AND the flower delivery in the opening scene as things that would likely be part of the case, and was correct on both counts.

It's still enjoyable to eventually see how they fit in, but it kind of ruins a bit of the fun.

Just the opposite for me. Watched the first episode and made it half way through the second episode. Neither my wife nor I find it the least bit interesting or enjoyable,

It really bugs me that she is always in a tank top while everyone around her is wearing long sleeves and jackets.
Also, is she supposed to have a photographic memory or just remember everything that happened to her?

It may bug you but I for one like it.

My wife noticed that and commented on it. She likes the show. I'm just in it for the poppies.

Her ex-boyfriend made a comment about the way she dressed, and she explained it (don't remember exactly what she said).

    But they did address it.

Yes, he did. The detective who brought her back into the force said that she should be conforming to the accepted dress code, and she replied something like, if he wants her help, live with how she dresses. She really never wanted back on the force, and he all but coerced her into coming back, so if he pushed it, she would just as soon walk away again. He wanted her (and the show would have been really short lived otherwise) so he let her have her way.

I believe they sad she has Hyperthymesia. Wikipedia (not an authoritative source, but) describes it:

They haven't explained why she would want to wear sleeveless shirts. They only said she didn't want to conform to the dress code. She would be freezing! She is shown outside at night and inside air conditioned offices when others are wearing jackets. It takes me out of the show every time I have to wonder why she isn't shivering.

She has serious dedication to her principle of not conforming to dress codes. :D

Somehow she's not chilled. I know because I have a 55" HDTV and have been watching for Poppy closely.

We were looking forward to this show. We like Montgomery and Walsh, and are big fans of cop shows. Alas, three episodes in it is, indeed, "Check Out Time" for us. Somehow we just aren't buying in. So disappointing; we wanted to like it....

Got through 40 minutes of the pilot and it was season pass deleted. Her smoke voice bugs me. And she has had some weird facial plastic surgery as well. No bueno.

Really? I'm usually pretty good at spotting face work (especially bad work - I'm looking at you, Meg Ryan). Her face looks the same to me as it did on Without A Trace.

    You know this for sure?

No. But I claim superior skills at spotting this than you. ;)
