TiVo Series 2 running 8.3.01-2-540 WindowsXP running TiVo Desktop 2.5.275381 TiVo account online shows features enabled, TiVo settings/info shows TiVoToGo: a,a,a Media key matches on TiVo and on their website. I can access the TiVo @ http:// & https:// and manually download video files. I have to manually add the system running TiVo Desktop, but can see/share photos & music. I have tried 192.168.0.x , and 172.17.1.x subnets w/ my Linksys router. Networking works fine, no issues. I have tried everything, but get the below error when I try to connect/download videos. "There was an error while attempting to retrieve data from the selected DVR." "The system cannot find the file specified" I have tried on a second PC, and get the exact same error. I have tried without XP firewall enabled on both machines. No 3rd party firewall software is installed. Bought a brand new Linksys router last week (old one was a few years old). TiVo Desktop server properties shows my DVR, but lists the IP address of my router. This can't be right??? Shouldn't it list the ip address of the DVR??? Someone PLEASE help, I've read several posts on various forums with similar problems, but haven't been able to find a solution.
