Unable to enter kickstart? What am I doing wrong?

    I upgraded my Bolt with a 3TB Toshiba drive last year and it was working fine until recently, where it almost is working fine except that it gets an S303 error during the service connection. It seems to have current guide data, and records shows fine. But I would like to correct the S303 problem. My issue is that I don't seem to be able to initiate a kickstart 58. The procedure that I am trying to follow is:
    1. As the TiVo DVR restarts, the green LED light on the front bezel of the box will be lit.
    2. When you see the yellow/amber light begin to flash, wait a second and then press and hold the Pause button on the remote for two seconds, then release it.
    3. Within 5 seconds, press the kickstart code (see below) on the remote control
    4. If you are successful, the green and amber lights will blink in alternating patterns to indicate the code has been accepted.
    My problem is that as soon as I release the pause button in step 2, the green LED and only the green LED is lit and the Tivo boots up normally. I do not seem to be able to enter the KS code. Help?

    Solved!!! After quite a few attempts, I found that I needed to wait 4 to 5 seconds after the yellow LED started to flash before pressing the Pause button (step 2 above). Once I did this, I was able to enter the 58 to run KS58 and this fixed my S303 issue. Happy day! :)
